Ultima III: Exodus

Ulillillia is now an honorary video reviewer. This guy has a beautiful, thorough mind.

This is just a part of a complete, and I mean complete exploration of Ultima III. Pay close attention to his use of syntax, it will shed insight into the very algorithms.

Technically...

Technically, "Ultima: Exodus", the NES port of Ultima III. Still, you're right, it is quite thorough. And kinda shows how tedious the game can get...

Exactly!

That's what I like about him, the way he methodically plays games is itself a commentary on the games. He also does some cool stuff with exploiting memory loops and stuff, I'll be posting his highlights periodically. I'm also trying to get him to do some vid critiques of some interesting indie games, hopefully he'll comply.

Drowning tails

I love his '5 Cases Of Drowning Tails' in Sonic 2 video.

His way of playing games is so unusual, totally methodical, finding all the glitches and bugs becomes part of the game.

Truly an Internet Original

Yeah, Ulillillia was one of Portal of Evil's favorite whipping boys for a while, but I've loved the guy since first sight. His homepage is unbelievably strange and introverted, just this huge testimonial to mathematical compulsion. I can bring myself to believe what he's got is an "illness," but, man, he's definitely not wired the way most of us humans are.

Guess he's learned to do some pretty amazing things with it. I'm really excited he's doing game reviews. It seems like a perfect way to use his talents and get some attention from people who don't have names like IHAZSTOLEDURMEGALULZ.

Oh my god, I love his voice, too. It's this perfect sleepy drawl...

There's a name for that...

That's called "game testing". He'd be a perfect game tester. Seriously--I put in my time as a game tester, and that's exactly how you're supposed to play the game. You go through and do everything methodically, trying to find every bug and glitch. After a while I got pretty good at it, but it takes a heck of a lot of concentration and patience...Personally I got really tired of it, but if he enjoys it, more power to him. ;)

I'm going to post one

I'm going to post one particular incidence of this next week. If he's up to it, hopefully we'll see some new stuff from him.

This Is NOT Ultima III

But rather, as JohnEvans has mentioned, the NES port of it.
