It's only fitting that I'm writing this review while in the throes of severe sleep deprivation and am verging on a caffeine overdose. Remember those La La Land games from a couple years back? Those oh-so-indie approximations of a Dali lucid dream? He made another game, but this time around it takes more than five minutes to beat.
I can't say much else to risk sounding even more art-faggory than I normally do, but the simplest explanation I can give is that its the closest equivalent to Don Hertzfeldt's existentialist shit. The monochrome art is nothing short of quirky, you charge up and fire energy blasts like you're Goku, and to progress you grind on enemies till you literally commit genocide. Oh, I better warn you that this is frustrating and vague most of the time. I linked to the TIG's page for the game so you can scour their comment section when you inevitably get stuck. You're welcome.
I better get some sleep now.
