Any geek worth their salt (sea salt) is a fan of Tesla, controversial statement? Not as controversial as this: Edison was a gimpy bastard. Is that ok for me to say? Is it too soon? Then you have Mark Twain narrating this joint with an overdone Southern accent, always saying some shit because saying shit is what Mark Twain loves to do. But let's get back to Tesla, did you know Tesla could:
Glide with the aide of pigeons?
Tesla: The Weatherman is a decidedly olde school platformer with SVGA style graphics brushed over to give that post-impressionist glaze that must accompany all indie platformers sold for $ since the release of Braid. The added gimmick of Tesla jokes, which strike a rare twinge in the hearts of under-appreciated geniuses everywhere (i.e. people who play indie platformers) is ok. That this gimmick is interwoven into puzzles, maintaing a giddy sense of historical mad-cappery, makes for extensible and engaging content. The game is on sale for $3.33 because Tesla was obsessed with the number three, or so they claim...
Personally, I'm also obsessed with the number 3, and particularly the number 27, which factors into three sets of three threes, the factoral denomination of which is three-fold. That used to trip me out in college. Maybe this game will trip you out... in your home.
