An off-shot from the main Telepath RPG series, Telepath Psy Arena is a turn-based tactics game featuring the much-improved battle engine, enemy AI, more enemies and teammate class varieties, as well as terrain, battle conditions and attacks avilable. And there is a plot!
It is significantly superior to the first Telepath Psy Arena, which was, more or less,a showcase of the Telepath RPG battle-engine: TPA2 is a stand-alone game, of the "beat-a-tournamnet" variety, with plot develeopment and significantly more freedom given to the player in choosing team composition and how to develop each individual team member (a dozen different classes with unique attacks, and it's up to the player to decide how many teammates of each class fight in the battle). There are 80 main-game battles, along with several areas that have randomly-generated-battles. All that amounts to the player being able to play through the game severeal times with completely differnt teams and facing completely different tactical challenges. Quite a sweet game for those who like to rely in tactical battles on their brains, rather than pure luck.
