Peter SoteszSumotori Dreams is a single player verses AI or player verses player, 97k, downloadable, free, Demoscene, game. The game is two sumo robot wrestlers who are programmed to attempt to keep their balance.
Each player has four choices of action:
1) Thrust one arm out, (alternating right and left arms).
2) Thrust both arms out.
3) Nudge their robot forward. In the robots attempt at righting it's self, from the nudge, it steps forward a number of times. The speed and distance is consequence of how long you hold down the button. This results in "a walk?". Forward movement may be a better description.
4) bend knees - resulting in a hop (or fall if held too long).
Last man standing or in the ring wins match. The fun doesn't end when a player wins, though. You get to watch, if you choose, the robots stand up and bow. This usually takes longer than the match and is much procedural falling hilarity. This is the funnest (read funniest) game I have played in years.
