Here's what's cool about Lugaru:
It features a hand-to-hand combat system controlled by a variety of mouse movements, that feels vastly more like kung-fu combat than any game that requires you to memorize huge lists of "combo" moves.
It's a fully 3D, action-adventure title, developed (originally for the Mac, forsooth) by a two-brother team with basically no funding--and still looks as good as, well, say, a high-end Playstation 1 title, which is a remarkable achievement under the circumstances.

Fancypants? More like Fancyshorts!
Those of you who used to sit down with friends or family to play through Mario's earlier forays will probably feel at home with Fancy Pants Adventure from your first two-dimensional jump. The game controls well, and the platforming is solid and fun. The character animation is simple but endearing. All said, it comes across as a well-polished project.
Fancy Pants Adventure is well worth a play if you're a platforming fan, but keep in mind that the game is still in progress. As soon as you start to dig your teeth into the adventures of Fancy Pants Man, the demo's done and you're kicked back into the menu.
This demo is full of potential, and it's a fun way to spend five minutes. However in its current state its most lasting impression is an unfulfilled hunger for more.
