Pizza Morgana is a humorous graphic adventure created by Israeli developer Corbomite games, with art from Uri Fink, creator of Israel's most popular comic, Zbang.
It's built in AGS the Wintermute engine, but the characters are cel-shaded 3D animations, which may have been a mistake for a low-budget, indie developer: the hand drawn art used for inventory items and backgrounds is better looking than the 3D characters.
Voice acting is, however, professional and far better than usual in indie games; and the writing is reasonably entertaining, if not quite up to Lucasarts or Dave Gilbert levels.
The real problem, though, is the game's length; it feels like it's just getting traction and becoming interesting when it ends. Now perhaps that should be expected in an episodic title, and perhaps "I want to play more" is a good rather than a bad feeling to end a game with, but given the $8.95 price tag, the developers would probably have been better off providing more rather than less at least in episode 1.
Still, it's fun and well written.

Wintermute, Not AGS
Hey Greg,
It was developed in the awesome Wintermute engine that supports 3D characters, not in AGS.
other than that, thanks for a honest review!
Episode 2 will be longer (and the more Episode 1 sales there are, the better it will be)

Budget considerations
Hi SoundGuy,
What do you think about Costik's comment on your use of 3D cell-shaded characters? I also tend to think that well-made (and less expensive to produce) 2D graphics would be a good alternative.
-It would make ingame graphics more consistent and cut down on production costs so you can allocate more money to other expenses, or even better set a lower price on the episodes.
