This is a short video review of Pax Britannica, an elegant and surprisingly deep one-button RTS that supports one to four players on the same keyboard.

Wow, impressive. Really
Wow, impressive.
Really cool, I'll try it out.
There is a surprising amount
There is a surprising amount of strategy to this. Presentation is really good as well.
Let's not mention it has the same name as Greg's board game http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1209/pax-britannica <.<
Pax Brit
Yes, I'd noticed that. I somewhat wondered what it had to do with the British Empire, but I suppose if I had to I could come up with a future history in which Great Britain is the dominant interstellar power...
Space British
Warren Ellis sort of did that...

Ministry of Space
I read that, actually :).
Submarines?
I'm pretty sure the game is set underwater, so it would have to be a Ministry of Deep Sea.
D'oh
The name of the game was originally going to be Mobilis in Mobili, which was Captain Nemo's emblem and a good fit for the underwater theme. However, we thought that name might be hard to remember or pronounce.
I stumbled upon the name Pax Britannica by chance when browsing Wikipedia. Since our game is about overwhelming naval power, I thought it kind of worked. I didn't realize there was already a board game with that name, apologies Greg! Your game is definitely a better fit for the title.
Thanks to Darius for making this video review and the PlayThisThing gang for posting it!
Health meter:
For the record, there is a health meter. The sine wave in the circular display on both ships is a health meter, albeit cleverly integrated.
