Have you ever taken psychedelics? Have you wanted to, but feared the legal complications?

I have the solution for you. Read up on the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose plant. You can order seeds of this legal plant cheaply, and plant them. They are not intended for human consumption. Recommended dose is 4-6 seeds.

Then play Mondrian.

It's one of those crazy Mondrian paintings, with the squares and stuff, except this time the squares can crush you. You want to Frogger your way across the painting to the crazy, flashing pixel block on the other side. When you get there, the whole thing goes whack, like some other Mondrian paintings. I'm not sure actually, I don't really follow the whole "art" thing, myes.

Different modes for different moods. Soylent Green! The human-corpse processed-snack bar-flavored mode. Casual, in case you don't care about challenge. Vertigo, inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock movie. And best of all, et cetera.

This game was quite entertaining, for what it was. Though limited in scope, it makes up for it with visual prettiness.

Devastro

Devastro

Devastro is, at its core, a level-based top-down shooter in which you control a squad of soldiers destroying ETs and blowing up their UFOs. Your soldiers level-up during play (in RPG fashion, and you may find yourself replaying a level in order to avoid the death of a character you've worked to upgrade); main weapons are guns and grenades, though you get to control some cool vehicles in later levels.

The combat is rarely as intense as in frenetic overhead shooters like Crimsonland or RIP, but Devastro has something those games lack: actual humor. It seems the Army isn't too keen on acknowledging the existence of UFOs, though it understands the importance of wiping out the alien invaders. The story is carried through a series of comic-book-like cut scenes at various points in the game, and is amusing enough to keep you engaged and eager to wipe out those evil enemy saucers Sir! That don't exist. Yes Sir! Ready for deniable action Sir!
