Babycastles is hosting the first of a series of bi-weekly gatherings this Sunday, October 15th, at Occupy Wall Street,
for anyone interested in meeting and joining the people involved in the Babycastles independent games culture project.
For this year, Babycastles has a new initiative - to let arcades crawl all over the city in every imaginable space possible, from museums, galleries, music venues, bars, schools, public parks, corporate offices, planetariums... everywhere. To make this happen, Babycastles is making steps to transform into public, community-owned project, relying on everyone interested to join in and curate, set up, build, cook for, and find venues for game art exhibitions everywhere, and to invent all the new magic as the project grows. The current operators, Syed Salahuddin & Kunal Gupta, are personally stepping back from the Babycastles project to form a new independent games studio & publishing label called "Artist Friends."
