I Wish I Were the Moon is another experiment in ludic Flash storytelling from Dan Benmergui, creator of Storyteller.

UI is simple; click on the scene to 'take a picture' of an element, then move it somewhere else and click again to place it. There are five potential endings, and to the degree that there is gameplay, it's a puzzle of a sort, working to uncover all five. It's also rather sweet, in a vaguely romantic sort of way. Not a deep game, but certainly an original one.

It's a really interesting

It's a really interesting concept, but I can only seem to find four of the five endings. Is there one with both of them on the moon?

Let's see.. Seagull

Let's see..

Seagull trip
Lost love ending
+Bring me the moon
Tragedy
I am your moon

Very sweet.

There are some interesting

I concur, this was sweet. Has anybody heard of "The Distance of the Moon by Italo Calvino" which this is based off of?

And am I the only one that doesn't really care for Kongregate and it's inane chatbox? It kind of distracts from the experience. I've got a link to Dan's actual site, which could be found from his main page.

Re There are some interesting

Thanks for posting the reference and Dan's website

On one hand i agree that the chat setup on kongreagte is kind of distracting from the game experience, would be nice if you could switch if off. on the other hand though i don't think this is reason to put down kongregate as a site. it support for indie games producers seems pretty solid and on top of that i actually really enjoy its achievement system. Not that i want to sound like an ad. I'll say this though i think most games site have pretty poor design, too many bright jarring elements that indeed take away from the games atmosphere, and it would be easy to implement a little flash app to darken or gray out the screen around the games window.
